Sunday School

Grow in your knowledge of God’s Word and be equipped to live it out through Christ-centered teaching for every age and stage of life.

At Forestgate, we recognize the importance of theology that not only informs our minds but also drives our affections and wills to be conformed to Christ in our daily lives.

During our Christian Education hour, we offer thoughtful, Scripture-rich classes for children, students, and adults that aim to cultivate both deep understanding and vibrant faith. Through intentional teaching, guided discussion, and faithful engagement with God’s Word, we seek to strengthen theological foundations while encouraging lives marked by worship, obedience, and love for Christ.

Nursery

PreK

Kids in PreK are invited to join interactive teaching through bible stories, coloring and hearing the history of redemption. The PreK class starts our children's Sunday school study through the One Story Ministries curriculum.

K-1st

Each week, one lesson is taught to all, at a developmentally appropriate level and each child goes home with resources to reinforce what they’ve learned in class. Forestgate uses the children's Sunday school study through the One Story Ministries curriculum.

2nd-3rd

We lead kids (2nd-3rd grade) into knowing Him, hearing His voice, and responding to His love. Our purpose is to reach the next generation with the Gospel of Christ through the children's Sunday school study through the One Story Ministries curriculum.

4th-5th

We lead older kids (4th-5th grade) into knowing Him, hearing His voice, and responding to His love. Our purpose is to reach the next generation with the Gospel of Christ through the children's Sunday school study through the One Story Ministries curriculum.

Junior High

Students in grades 6th through 8th are invited to join for studies through books of the Bible and the history of redemption. The middle school class concludes our children's Sunday school study through the One Story Ministries curriculum.

High School

Students in grades 9th through 12th are invited to join for various studies through books of the Bible, theological topics, cultural questions, and applied theology written and catered to the needs, experiences, and interests of high schoolers in Colorado.

Adults

Equipping the body through Christian Education. Adult Sunday School has rotating subjects taught by pastors, elders and lay people. Class recordings are provided.
