Becoming a member at FPC is an opportunity to commit yourself to a community that seeks to love God and one another.
Membership at Forestgate is an opportunity to formally join the life and mission of our church.
Our “Welcome to Forestgate” (W2F) new members class is offered twice a year in the spring and fall and provides an introduction to the church’s beliefs, identity, and the steps involved in becoming a member. The class typically includes lunch and childcare (for ages 6 and under), and requires signing up in advance. After attending, those interested in membership may submit a form and schedule an interview with members of the Session, after which new members are introduced to the congregation. In the meantime, we encourage you to participate in community groups, Bible studies, and volunteer opportunities as you get to know the life of the church.
