Mark & Megumi Bocanegra

Mark and Megumi Bocanegra are MTW missionaries in Japan. They met in Chiba, Japan, united by a shared heart for the Japanese people. Megumi was raised in a Japanese Christian home, while Mark—who spent ten years of his childhood in Tokyo—experienced a conversion to Christ at Stanford University. Before pursuing ministry, Mark worked at Rakuten to confirm his calling to Japan. Now a Westminster Seminary California graduate and PCA Teaching Elder, Mark serves as the pastor of Kaihin Makuhari Grace Church (KMGC) within the Presbyterian Church of Japan. He also leads the MTW Makuhari Team. They also have five children.
