Small Groups
We have several Small Groups, covering a
variety of topics, meeting on a regular
basis to help foster spiritual growth
and build strong relationships, because
we know it is hard to grow close when we
simply see one another briefly on Sunday
mornings.
Men and Women
The men have several active studies that
meet at different times during the week.
The majority of these groups have been
studying through the book, "Respectable
Sins" by Jerry Bridges. The Men also
have a Men's Breakfast monthly, usually
on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 8
a.m. Each breakfast has a special
speaker and our men have a great time of
fellowship, pancakes and sausage.
Women in the Church, WIC, is the name
for our Women's Ministries at
Forestgate. WIC organizes studies and
events, such as retreats and days away.
They have a very active mercy ministry
and also organize and manage the church
prayer chain. The Women have a weekly
studies on Tuesday mornings at 9-11:30
and Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
Childcare is provided for the Tuesday
daytime study.
The women also participate in Titus 2
groups, which are small groups that meet
monthly for study, prayer and
fellowship. Titus 2 groups are organized
annually and provide a relaxed setting
for relationship building and mentoring.
Our ladies also have a Women's Book Club
that meets monthly during the school
year. Our most recent addition to the
women's ministry is the Artisan Guild,
where gifted ladies organize teaching
sessions in their homes. Artisan groups
cover many interests, from knitting to
cooking, watercolor to English Country
Dance. Contact the office for more
information.

Connection, the weekly newsletter of
Women In The Church, click on the Women
In The Church graphic at the left hand

specific individual about a ladies'
ministry, please contact the office,

have that ministry chairperson contact

Youth Group
Grades
7-12 meet weekly on Wednesday
nights at 6:15 p.m. at Forestgate. They
regularly participate in Bible study &
service projects. Meetings include
singing, a relevant lesson, fun, food and fellowship time.
Children
Ages 5-7 participate in Awana which also
takes place on Wed. evenings. This is a
partnering effort during the school year
with Crossroads SBC, our church
neighbor.
